With our teams set, our comm guy counted down on the net: five, four, three... on two the scoped rifles opened up. On one, the valley erupted with machine gun fire. Rob held his sights low at the center of the group knowing that his rounds would naturally rise as he squeezed the trigger. He fired nearly two hundred rounds when the shooting started. Nate calmed his breathing. Training kicked in and he honed his senses. He applied the fundamentals. Nothing mystical, nothing magical, just the fundamentals of shooting. He and another sniper sent their first round at the director, killing him on the spot. Next to him, five or six other fighters instantly dropped. The rest scattered like roaches.
